Frowein & Co Beteiligungs AG, a privately owned company, was founded in 2005 as a proprietary holding company. The original
Frowein & Co itself, the parent company, was founded in 1763 by Abraham Frowein in Wuppertal, Germany.
Today, Frowein & Co Beteiligungs AG is still a privately owned company. We do not have co investors nor do we manage
funds from outside investors. Our mission is to buy small-to-medium sized German-family companies. Preferably, the
takeovers provide a transition to the next generation in order to secure the future for companies without a succession
from family members.
Frowein & Co Beteiligungs AG focuses on profitable and well managed companies that have proven to have a competitive
edge over their competitors through their advanced and innovative technologies. The companies should be able to provide
a sound business model for the future.
Frowein & Co Beteiligungs AG generally buys 100% of the shares in an all cash deal.
Frowein & Co Beteiligungs AG's strategy is to build a portfolio of companies. Hence we provide a long-term commitment to our companies. We are not exit-oriented. It is part of our core philosophy to preserve the assets, the identity and the culture that each company has developed over the past decades.
